Toshiba Korea has been lauch their new notebook series Toshiba Portege R500. With display 12.1 inch, Portege R500 is all-in-one notebook feature 20g weight motherboard with dual sided component mounting.

The motherboard size has been reduce to utilize its proprietary High Density Mounting Technology process. The ultra design with feather light 1.72 pound, Toshiba R500 offering and expression of executive mobility and style. The thinnest wide screen 12.1 inch integrated with DVD-SuperMulti drive make Portege R500 series give portability and productivity.

Portege R500 integrated with 120GB hard drive storage, full size keyboard, led back light, 3 USB 2.0 ports and sleek design. The weakness only come from when you burn a DVD its generate a lot of noise. The mouse button severally can be nuisance and the memory 1GB is needed to upgrade up to 2GB to get the best performance.

The processor Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 with speed 1.2 GHz give the best speed performance for multi task environment and Vista ready. The Intel GMA X3100 graphic card is deliver good office task and the price will be around $2,149.
