Acer release several Aspire and TravelMate Series laptop to their consumers based on Intel Core processor families. They are Acer TravelMate Timeline 8×72, TravelMate 5740 and 7740, Aspire 5942 and Aspire 8942.
The Acer Travelmate Timeline 8×72 featuring 13.3-inch, 14-inchand 15.6-inch LCD display; up to 640GB of HDD or 160GB od SSD, DVD writer, 8-hours battery life and this laptop is thin and light for business.

Intel Corporation announced today that the desktop processors based on the new microarchitecture society coming Nehalem code will be officially branded Intel Core.
The first products of this new family of processors, including a version Extreme Edition, will be entitled to a Intel i7 identification and will officially mark the “Intel Core processor i7″. This is the first of several new IDs to come that different products launch next year.
