Sony Ericsson T700 3.5G Phone

Sony Ericsson second attempt to revive the classic “T-Series” line continues with very compact Sony Ericsson T700 – a slight 3.5G device that uses some clues classical style Sony Ericsson K610 and the extension of the cresearch a little strange T650.

T700 weighing just 78 grams and a thickness of only 10mm, the T700 is incredibly light for a device of this specification. With support 3.5G HSDPA, 3G UMTS 2100, a QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) display, 3.2 megapixel main camera, video calling, expandable memory, stereo Bluetooth, a media player, stereo speakers and an FM radio, the Sony Ericsson T700 squeezes in an impressive amount of features for an aircraft of this size.

The T700 includes a size of 512 MB memory card decently in the box, and of course it can be expanded using Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards.The 2-inch screen is very low compared to some rivals, T700, the device seems to be missing AF and it does not seem to be a standard audio socket. On the positive side is the T700 levity, the city and battery life is very good also with a maximum of 9.5 hours on hours GSM and 4.5 hours on 3G.

The handset is beautifully glossy in a case that mimics the T610, but with a much more conventional keyboard strange that the T650 research. Sony Ericsson say that “the lack of elegance of the T700 offers consumers a premium experience at a midrange price – perfect for the design consciousness” locations as a way T700 phone, but with these specifications, would make a very good business and phone.

Sony Ericsson say that the T700 should be available in early Q4 2008 “Black on Silver”, “Black on Red” and “Shining Silver” colour combinations.
