Sharp Offer Solar Powered LCD HDTV
As electricity bills continue to rise, and the world becomes increasingly environmentally aware, Sharp offers a solution. Large screen HDTV are known to use a lot of electricity, particularly plasma.

Most manufacturers are doing their bit by reducing the amount of electricity that consume the sets when in operation and when in standby. But Sharp has gone one step further, but the production of the world premiere off-the-grid television, which is powered only by its own unique solar panel.
The 52″ LCD-TV seems to use the only solar panel to generate electricity to 220kWh high definition which uses its power, without negative effects on the environment.
We have seen high-definition TV respectful of the environment in the past, which reduces electricity using LEDs to provide the light source, but nothing like this. We are impressed by the ideas of Sharp, and we hope very anxious to see this whole production in the future.
