Sharp Aquos XS1 Series LCD TV
Sharp has announced to expand its AQUOS TV series with new XS1 range. The new AQUOS XS1 series includes 65 and 52-inch TV models. What is unique about the new TV is their thinness. The televisions are only one inch thick, the thinnest part.

The new LCD panels published integrate system RGB-LED backlighting and sport a contrast ratio of over 1000000:1. In addition, XS1 AQUOS TV series have improved color reproduction for dark scenes and offers a better, more vibrant range of colors.
In addition, televisions incorporate energy-efficient technology, which reduces power consumption by adjusting the screen brightness according to the brightness level in the field of installation.
Thanks to its AQUOS XS1 TV series “thinness, users will have the freedom of installation of styles including wall mounting, table etc. Even thin speakers are fitted in the new Sharp television. In cooperation with Pioneer, Sharp has set the single point of 1-bit digital amplifier for the new thin televisions. Sharp intends to ship the new AQUOS XS1 TV series by October 2008.
