Samsung Digital TV Receiver Chip 65nm Technology

Samsung’s advanced 65nm process technology on 300mm, this new DVB-T receiver chip supports Europe NorDig unified standard for digital broadcasting. The level of energy consumption for the chip industry is a low-80mW, less than a third of the conventional 250mW average energy consumption of existing solutions on the market.

Samsung Electronics today announced the development of a digital TV receiver chip ‘S5H1432‘ using 65nm process technology for terrestrial digital video broadcasting, the standard for digital broadcasting in Europe, Asia Southeast and Australia. Samsung DVB new receiver chip is designed for use in digital televisions, set-top boxes, TV receivers for PC cards, USB interface plug and play dongle or boxes, and DVD recorders.

Samsung new DVB-T receiver enables high-performance chip using the algorithm processing property, even in network environments single frequency, the reduction in the chain of scanning interval by half, at least for 0.1 seconds, the conventional 0.2-second.
