Pentax Optio V20 Compact Digital Camera

Pentax has announced the Pentax Optio V20 compact digital camera with a 5x zoom, 8.0 megapixels and a generous 3.0-inch LCD screen. Additional features include Auto-AF for continuous follow-up focus on a subject in motion, 52MB RAM and an automatic macro mode that allows close-up photography as near as 4 inches (10 cm), without changing the mode of focusing.

Pentax Optio V20 features a 5X optical zoom lens with an angle of view equivalent to a 36mm-180mm lens in 35 mm format, which allows users to zoom in on the subjects. The Optio V20 features a high resolution, 3.0-inch LCD screen with about 230000 points which allows images and text to be displayed widely and clearly.

Pentax V20 is equipped with a function capture Smile acknowledges that smiles and release the shutter automatically. A function detection Blink users whether subjects blinking during image capture, the image can be recovered. Three innovative features on the Pentax Optio V20 help users optimize portrait photographs. A function of Face Recognition automatically detects and focuses on the faces, and then sets the optimum exposure.
