March 14, 2008 | Cell Phone, Nokia | 3 CommentsSeveral weeks ago, Nokia has been launch their new classic handset which named Nokia 6220 which is not so exciting me. They re-using the same name of the forgotten cell phone from several years ago and they hope this mobile phone can grab attention at the market.

So let’s us investigate inside the handset. The Nokia 6220 is a Symbian S60 phone series with advance technology with HSDPA high speed data, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and also built in GPS. But why it doesn’t one of the part of N-Series or E-Series? I don’t know because it’s still mystery.
So let’s go to have a look Nokia 6220 from photographic using. The 5 megapixel camera come with excellent optic, autofocus, Xenon flash and also can capture video camera using VGA resolution at 30 fps. The built-in GPS with Nokia’s generation mapping system. The GPS is integrated at the camera, so any photograph automatic geo tagged the location.

With QVGA display measure at 108x47x15 millimeter with weight 90 grams, Nokia 6220 has talk time only 2.5 hours maximum if using 3G mode, but using GSM can longer until 3.5 hours. The 900mAH BP-5 unit battery can drive for 11 hours for music playback and 4 hours for GPS.
You can turn the 6220 into music phone which can playback MPEG-4, MP3, AAC and WMA files. Also it come with FM radio and stereo bluetooth. You can upgrade the memory card until 8GB which is Nokia only have 120 MB internal memory.
The price range for Nokia 6220 classic around $450 before tax and subsidy. So why you must buy Nokia N96 if you can get the same feature or more like Nokia 6220.
