Nikon CoolPix S70 Touch Screen Compact Camera

New touch screen commands at Nikon camera on-screen sliders to adjust brightness and Scene Effect of adjustment, which provides specific controls to the scene mode use.

The capacitive touch screen provides an immediate response to the touch of the screen for a fun and intuitive feel for each operation. For example, using the Speed Touch feature, users may have a “button-free” and focus on the experience of photographing a subject by simply touching the screen of the camera. The COOLPIX S70 features 12.1 megapixels, a 5x wide-angle Zoom-NIKKOR lens, ISO 6400 ***, 5-way system VR image stabilization Object Tracking; Scene Selector Auto mode, Nikon’s Smart Portrait and ultra-design system.
New to the COOLPIX line, the OLED technology offers the advantages of the reproduction of vivid colors, contrast and lack of Afterimages. The touch screen camera also allows viewing and editing images more pleasant and efficient. With the slip of a finger, the user can scroll through the images and use a pinching motion with two fingers to zoom in or out of images displayed, the switch between thumbnail and full screen views. In addition to his photographic style and technology with dual texture, S70 superb HD video capture at 1280 x 720 pixels (720p).
The S70 will be available in September 2009 for MSRP $ 399.95 in a choice of colors and textures, including Red & Red, Champagne Beige & Black and Black, or Champagne & Light Brown.
