How to Install SecureW2 on Windows XP

The SecureW2 EAP Suite is an Open Source EAP Framework that plugs into the Microsoft 802.1X/EAP host environment available on Windows.

These instructions are the full manual steps for installation of the W2client on XP\Vista. For packaged installations, please use the short guide. Download the SecureW2 EAP Suite to your desktop. A dialog box explaining that all files should be extracted will open; click Extract all. Double-click on the name of the expanded SecureW2 .exe file, which will also expand. Follow the wizard to show extracted files.

Open the expanded folder and double-click on the SecureW2…exe file. A dialog box opens asking you to select a language. Do it and click OK. Leave the Choose Components screen as it is, with TTLS selected, and click Install. Click Reboot now and the Finish button.
