The outside cover of the iPhone screen is made of glass. This glass could break if iPhone is dropped on a hard surface or receives a substantial impact. If the glass chips or cracks, do not touch or attempt to remove the broken glass. Stop using iPhone until the glass is replaced by an Apple authorized wireless service provider.
Never attempt to repair or modify iPhone yourself. Disassembling iPhone, including the removal of external screws, may cause damage that is not covered under the warranty. iPhone does not contain any user-serviceable parts, except for the SIM card and SIM tray. Service should only be provided by an Apple authorized wireless service provider. If iPhone has been submerged in water, punctured, or subjected to a severe fall, do not use it until you take it to an Apple authorized wireless service provider.

How do you invoke Google Street View? We struggled with this as well but it’s pretty simple, if not straight forward. First, navigate to the place you want to view in Street View. Tap the little upturned page icon located in the bottom right of the map and drop a pin. Give it a second and you’ll see the orange person silhouette icon will darken. Then simply tap the orange icon and there you go!
What are some ideas for extending battery life? Speaking of batteries, my iPhone has been suffering progressively worsening battery life. I’d start the day off fully charged and by supper I’d be at or getting close to 20% left. This was odd as I’d not overly taxed the phone. I’d probably use an hour or so of Talk Time, checked my email every hour or so and brought up iCal 10 or 15 times. I’d also take a trip to Twitterland via Twitterrific (now replaced by Tweetsville by the way) and maybe use a few other apps along the way but did nothing that I felt should be running the battery down that fast.

Do not install both Trip1PogoStick and SummerBoard on 1.1.1 — you’ll get startup freeze (stuck on Apple logo), especially if you’ve used previous 1.1.1. upgrade methods, including iNdepenence 1.2.2. and/or Trip1Prepz. We made this mistake and that’s what inspired us to start fresh and document every step for you. Use iTunes to restore to a fresh 1.1.1 state if this occurs.
Do not install the 1.1.1 tweaks with SummerBoard. They are not compatible SummerBoard and Customize and will screw up your Springboard forcing to to restore to 1.1.1 and then start the 50 step process all over again. We attempted this and ended up with a blank Springboard, no icons, and no phone functionality. The closest we’ve come to a brick, yet, in all our of hacking tests

Truphone provides telephone services using its internet-based telephone network. Truphone allows you to make iPhone calls via the internet which means that you can make INTERNATIONAL calls at LOCAL rates because most of the routing is done on Truphone’s internet-based network.
Connecting to the Truphone network is seamless….via a Wi-Fi connection or, if you are not in a Wi-Fi area, via a normal iPhone call (via your service provider) using the new Truphone Anywhere feature (Please Note: Calls are not possible via your 3G connection). Truphone always tries Wi-Fi first. Once you install the Truphone application on your iPhone, and complete the quick account set up stage, you are ready to make calls.
Your Truphone Tru Friends works in a similar way to your ordinary iPhone Favourites. Here you can save numbers that you use on a regular basis. The Tru Friends list saves you the time and inconvenience of searching through your contacts list, opening a contact, and then selecting the desired number.

Before you can use any of iPhone’s features, you must activate iPhone by signing up for a service plan with the iPhone service carrier in your area and registering iPhone with the network. If you already have a wireless account with the carrier, you may be able to upgrade your account to work with iPhone, or keep using your old phone and add a new line for iPhone. (Some accounts may not be upgradable.) You may also be able to transfer your current phone number to iPhone, or get a new one.
Ringtones, music, audiobooks, podcasts, and video content are synced from your iTunes library. If you don’t already have content in iTunes, the iTunes Store (available in some countries) makes it easy to purchase or subscribe to content and download it to iTunes. You can also add music to your iTunes library from your CDs.
