HE120A,B By-Pass Drum Humidifier Owners Manual

With your Honeywell humidifier you will notice a decrease in dry skin, scratchy throats and irritated nasal passages that aggravate allergies and asthma. You’ve also taken the first step to stopping the “zapping” created by walking on your carpet and touching your TV, computer, metal door knob or your pet. You can even put away your glue bottle because your furniture and woodwork will stop drying out. Congratulations! You have just made a great investment in your home comfort.

Your HE120A Honeywell humidifier is controlled by the H908A Convertible Humidity Control that is installed either on the return air duct or on an interior wall in your living area. Choose the humidity control setting using the combination relative humidity/outdoor temperature setting scale on your humidity control. Match the dial setting to the outdoor temperature for optimizing the humidity level while reducing the moisture condensation on your windows. The table below can also be used to adjust the humidity control to the recommended setting.

TrueSTEAM Humidification Reference Guide

Guidelines are presented for determining how to choose the best TrueSTEAM for your application, taking into consideration best practices recommended by industry experts, and other factors that influence indoor humidity loads.

The Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) set guidelines for determining humidification capacity requirements. The recommendation is based on the square footage and type of home construction, and assuming typical conditions. It is important to realize many homes will have humidification requirements that differ from the guidelines depending on how the circumstances differ from standard conditions.

AHRI has also established a standard method of determining capacity ratings, which provides a means for comparing products, including those from different manufacturers. Capacity is determined by the output of the device as if it operated 24 hours per day. Honeywell TrueSTEAM capacity ratings are determined by testing in accordance with the AHRI guidelines.

Honeywell TrueSTEAM Humidifier

Air in your home that is too dry can be uncomfortable to breathe, and can damage wood products like flooring, pianos, picture frames and cabinetry. In the winter, it’s especially important to add moisture to the air, since dry winter air can drive down the relative humidity level in your home to as low as 15%, which is drier than the air in most deserts. A Honeywell Humidifier can help keep the humidity in your home at the proper level.

Honeywell’s breakthrough TrueSTEAM Humidification System can ensure that your home and family are getting the right amount of moisture. Your home is a lot like your body. It needs to stay properly hydrated in order to maintain the health and comfort of those living in it.

Moisture on Demand - TrueSTEAM works by producing its own steam independent of equipment operation, so your home gets moisture when you need it most.

Honeywell TL7230A Electronic Thermostat User Guide

Honeywell’s TL7230A thermostat can be connected to an electric heater to control the room temperature. To remove the control module from the power base, loosen the captive screw underneath the thermostat and pull the two components apart as shown. To install the control module onto the power base, reverse the above procedure.

Two potentiometers, on the back of the control module, set the minimum and maximum temperature limits. For example, even if the temperature adjustment knob is placed at 86°F, the temperature will be maintained at 77°F if the maximum temperature limit is set to 77°F. Use a flat-tip screwdriver to rotate each potentiometer until its notch points to the desired temperature limit. Each potentiometer setting corresponds to a temperature setting.
