Setting Up a Functional VPN Guideline PDF Manual

Why do I want a VPN ? VPN by definition creates a private, trusted network across an untrusted medium. It allows you to connect offices and people from around the world together, using a public network (The Internet) to share data and software. The real advantage comes from the application thereof. It allows a system administrator to be on the network from a remote point. Employees can access the network from anywhere in the world where they can get an internet connection. This includes working from home.

It allows for small networks between friends for playing multiplayer LAN games. In any scenario where you need to connect two PCs/networks together without the ability to string cables between them, a VPN can provide the solution for you. This document covers a few basic configurations that the WinGate VPN can be used for. Essentially, however, the basic principle for every kind of setup remains the same – you are connecting two networks together using the Internet. The use of the client is the only differentiation along with some small setup adjustments that need to be made to cater for the different scenarios.

Canon EOS 40D Camera White Paper PDF Manual

The new Canon EOS 40D welcomes users to the next generation of Digital SLR photography by continuing the Canon traditions of exceptional performance, quality and value. The EOS 40D has a newly-enhanced 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor that takes advantage of Canon-developed manufacturing techniques to achieve fine detail, high image quality, and low noise. The output from the sensor is converted to 14 bits, rather than 12, for finer color gradation. Highlight Tone Priority improves exposures in difficult lighting conditions.

The EOS 40D is really fast, too. It fires those 10.1 megapixel, 14-bit files at 6.5 frames per second, shooting continuously with 75 shot bursts of Large/Fine JPEGs or 17 RAW images. The speed comes from the powerful combination of the new DIGIC III processor, DDR SDRAM high-speed memory, 4-channel per line sensor readout, and 2 separate motors for shutter and mirror operation. The EOS 40D has a top shutter speed of 1/8000 sec., X-sync at 1/250 sec., a 0.15 sec. startup time and ISOs to 3200 (using the extension feature). High ISO noise reduction maintains image quality with low-light shooting.

Canon EOS 40D Instruction Manual PDF Manual

The EOS 40D is a high-performance, digital SLR camera featuring a fine-detail CMOS sensor with 10.10 effective megapixels, DIGIC III, high-precision and high-speed 9-point AF (all cross-type points), and high-speed 6.5 fps continuous shooting. The camera is highly responsive to any shooting situation at anytime, provides many features for demanding shoots, and expands shooting possibilities with system accessories. It also incorporates a Self Cleaning Sensor Unit called the EOS Integrated Cleaning System to remove dust on the sensor.

With a digital camera, you can immediately view the image you have captured. While reading this manual, take a few test shots and see how they come out. You can then better understand the camera. After shooting, playback and check whether the image has been properly recorded. If the camera or CF card is faulty and the images cannot be recorded or downloaded to the personal computer, Canon cannot be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused.

Nikon D80 User Guide PDF Manual

To get great photos you still need to get yourself to the right place at the right time and point the camera in the right direction, which is a lot harder than mastering the D80. Right out of the box at default settings the D80 does a great job so long as you preset the exposure compensation to -0.7. Making a great photo involves locations, timing, patience and a whole lot more

Reset resets flash exposure compensations and sync modes, but doesn’t reset any screwy settings you may have made in Custom Setting 22 for remote or manual flash. Reset resets mostly everything tactical, which is mostly you see on the top LCD. It leaves alone strategic items like languages, file numbering and Optimize Image settings. Hold the weird rectangle button and spin the rear dial to set the metering modes to Matrix (weird rectangle), center weight (a dot with a ring around it) or spot (a small dot), as seen on the top LCD. There is no indication in the finder.
