Logitec LHD-ED1000U2L External HDD Eco-Friendly

Logitec Japan announced the LHD-ED1000U2L, an average of 1 TB external hard drive with USB 2.0 and environmental friendliness.

No hard drive that case is not made of corn-based plastic, but Nifty has a power saving mode which will stop the rotation of the hard disk after 1 minute of inactivity (no access its data stored).

This feature works on both PC and MAC, but only a PC powered by computer with the software to adjust energy saving functional and more time before stopping the rotation of the disk drive. It will cost about 220 €.
