LG Electronics unveiled its portable 3G Touch Watch Phone (model: LG-GD910) with a thickness of 13.9mm. 3G Touch Watch Phone offers functions of a cell phone on a small device like a watch.

In most cases, hi-tech inventions are produced in relatively more developed countries, and are then imitated at cheaper prices by relatively less developed countries.
But here we have the very opposite: the Chinese have been turning out these devices for the past two years or so and have been selling them at fairly reasonable prices (between $75-$250).
Now the big Koreans – LG, Hyundai and Samsung – are about to market expensive imitations without a significant improvement in quality, style and features.
Thanks, but I’ll take the Chinese any day.
