Dell XPS One 24 All-in-One PC Screen

Dell just announced their new Dell XPS One 24 All-in-one PC / screen. They updated the design to make it a lot brighter, and added a lot of improvements.

The Dell XPS One 24, as you may have guessed from the name, has a large 24-inch widescreen display with 1900 x 1200 pixel resolution. This screen resolution, with optional Blu-ray Disc drive is why it is displayed on this site.

With a large screen and resolution to the native resolution of Blu-ray and HD movies Dell XPS One 24, with it is built in speakers offer a wide range in a single solution for playback HD. You can use the XPS One 24, as a simple computer tasks every day, but it is still better than HD Media Center / HTPC.

Powered by an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 processor, 4 GB of RAM and X4500 graphics chipset. Also featured is Bluetooth 2.0, wireless 802.11a/b/g/n, and a hybrid TV tuner with remote. Along with the Blu-ray option updated, you can also update the graphics of the new and powerful NVIDIA 9600 GT mobile graphics with 512 MB of video memory.

The HD 1080p LCD display 16.7 million colors, a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and a response time of 6ms. The Dell XPS One 24 seems to be the perfect all-in-one computer, especially for playing HD media.

This machine isn’t that great – Ubuntu and other Linux distros only run at 800×600 resolution on it, with no sure sign of support in the near future either.
