Asus Garmin Nuvifone G60 Smartphone
Garmin GPS company and ASUSTeK Computer has announced they have formed a strategic partnership to design and release of co-brand smartphones have location-based services.

The partnership, known as Garmin-Asus will launch a line of serial products nuvifone phones. The long wait Garmin Nuvifone will be noticed that the G60 and Nuvifone will be the first product, the partnership will launch during the first half of 2009. More information about the Nuvifone G60 will be released at Mobile World Congress.

Garmin Asus plans on producing phones of several operating systems, including Windows Mobile, Linux and platform Google Android, “said Jonney Shih, chairman of Asustek, at a press conference in Taipei. The phones feature a multitude of functions of LBS, including services such as location-tagged photos and geo-directed social networks
