Asus EEE PC S101 Ultra Slim Netbook

Asus officially announces its way Eee PC S101 the high-end netbook on the market. The Eee PC S101 will be in three colors, Brown, Champagne or graphite infusion with premium finishes and crystal decorated offerng the success of fusion of fashion and functionality on a netbook.

The Asus Eee PC S101 is powered by an Intel Atom (probably N270 1.6 GHz), 1 GB of DDR2 RAM. It has Solid State Drive (SSD) for storage, a 10.2-inch LED-backlit LCD display, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, a 4-in-1 card reader, multi-touch toucpad, and 0.3 megapixel webcam.

Although Asus CEO mentioned that the S101 does not come with Eee brand, as the press release and image indicated, the Eee PC brand is still there. The S101 is available in three versions which are listed below:
* 16 GB SSD, Windows XP, including another 16-GB SD card: 699 USD
* 32 GB SSD, Linux operating system: USD 699
* 64 GB SSD, Linux operating system: USD 799
